Two swimmers were assisted to shore at Kapalua Bay in West Maui on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018.

Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered that a paddle boarder made his way out to the two swimmers to provide assistance.

Ocean Safety personnel aboard a Jetski brought both swimmers and the paddleboarder to shore without further incident, according to Maui Fire Services Chief Rylan Yatsushiro.
