A family in need from Lahaina received an early Christmas gift on Wednesday — a 2012 Nissan Altima — thanks to the generosity of several local companies. Angela Brooks and her family were identified as a deserving client of Ka Hale A Ke Ola, a social service provider in Lahaina, as part of Helping Hands Hawaiʻi’s Adopt A Family program. The gift was made possible by First Insurance Company of Hawaiʻi which donated the salvaged car; Jace & Kim Collision Specialists of Wailuku which donated their labor; and New City Nissan of Honolulu and Maui Auto Parts which donated the parts.
