Pavement Preservation Project on Pūlehu Road

The Department of Public Works Highways Division, Pavement Preservation Section, will be conducting a pavement preservation project on Pūlehu Road from the Central Maui Landfill to Ōmaʻopio Road Junction beginning Tuesday, Jan 15.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and to expect delays in traffic due to rotating single-lane traffic control on the following days:

Jan 15 to Jan 18
Jan 29 to Feb 1
Feb 12 to Feb 15
Feb 26 to Mar 1

Work is will be done weather-permitting between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Crews will be overlaying hot mix on the highway as part of the department’s pavement preservation and roadway rehabilitation program.
