The Lahaina Town Action Committee and Lahaina Arts society sponsor Lahaina’s annual poster contest.

Now in its 25th year, the contest offers a grand prize of $100 per year – that’s $2500 for anyone mathematically challenged – and is likely enough to inspire local artists and even those semi-competent at doodling to enter. (Heck, this writer has rent to pay and may just stock up on art supplies and brush off her old still life skills. You never know…)

The competition is open to all artists and the winning entry becomes the limited edition official Lahaina poster for 2014, which will feature only 1000 prints. The winning poster will be sold at the Lahaina Visitor Center and possibly at fine art galleries throughout town.
