According to information released by Hawaiʻi Health Systems Corporation, Dr. Meyer has gone on medical mission trips to Kenya and rural Belize, and recently relocated to Maui from Kansas, where she also worked as a rural health family physician.

“We are extremely fortunate to have Dr. Meyer join our staff,” said Dr. Nicole Apoliona, the clinic medical director at the Kula Hospital.

In a press release, Apoliona commented on Dr. Meyer’s arrival saying, “She brings great experience and enthusiasm to family medicine, while being wonderfully compassionate, something that is truly valued by our small island community.”
