Police say two males grabbed the woman from a party that was being held in Kahului, and put her into a dark colored SUV. The two men then allegedly drove off to a remote area in Pāʻia and attempted to sexually assault the woman, according to police reports.

The victim was able to fend off her attackers and bit one of them in the cheek causing a visible injury to the facial area, according to police reports. The victim was able to flee from the attackers and made her way home and reported the incident to police.

The two men are described as “local,” between 25 to 30 years of age. One of the alleged attackers has a bite mark on his face and is about 5’8″ to 5’9″ in height with a slender build, according to police.
