Oktoberfest Event Benefits Pacific Cancer Foundation

Proceeds from the upcoming fourth annual Oktoberfest event will benefit the Maui based non-profit Pacific Cancer Foundation.

The event is scheduled to take place from 3 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, Nāpili Gardens in Kāʻanapali.

Presented by the Maui Brewing Company, the annual event features a Beer Garden with specialty microbrews and products from guest breweries on Hawaiʻi Island and Kauaʻi.  The event also includes food, entertainment, and live music.

Featured entertainment includes: Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner, Paula Fuga; Grammy and Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner, Sonny Lim; Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner 2013, Benny Uyetake; the drummers of Zenshin Daiko; and The House Shakers with Lenny Castellanos, Paul Marchetti, and Ken G.

Tickets are available for $30 in advance online through the Pacific Cancer Foundation, or $35 at the door.  There is also a special $199 Saturday night “Oktoberfest” room rate at the Hyatt Regency Maui, available after confirmed online ticket purchase.

The Pacific Cancer Foundation serves the community by providing a connection between the cancer patient and social, financial, mental and physical resources.

The organization promotes optimal care for all those whose lives are touched by cancer on Maui through access, knowledge, and support.
