According to water department representatives, the project is expected to resume in approximately 6 to 10 weeks, following health department approvals.

The project began on Dec. 4, and extends along the Hāna Highway from Lower Pāʻia Park to Hōlua Place in Kūʻau

The contractor and the department will notify customers when the project resumes, an announcement said.
