Recruitment Begins Today for Adult Correction Officer

Recruitment begins today on Maui to fill Adult Correction Officer vacancies.
It is among the job openings posted by the Department of Public Safety for Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, and Maui.
To qualify, applicants must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
Department officials say applicants must also have one year of responsible work experience that shows the ability to relate effectively with people, in following instructions of a supervisor, and giving or exchanging information.
If selected, applicants will move on to Basic Corrections Training.
The application period is open through Thursday, Feb. 27th, and applications are available through the Department of Human Resources and Development job-seekers webpage for respective locations in Hawaiʻi County, Kauaʻi, and Maui.
