Water customers on Dairy Road and parts of the Kahului Industrial Area are experiencing very low to no water pressure due to a broken 12-inch main line, water department officials announced.

Areas affected by the reduced service include: Dairy Road from Alamaha Street to First Assembly of God church, Zippy’s, the Puʻunēnē sugar mill, homes on Aoloa Loop, Puakala Place and Puʻukani Street; and parts of Papa Place.

Water service should be restored by 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, according to Jacky Takakura, administrative officer for the Maui Department of Water Supply.

Customers experiencing a water problem should call the 24-hour service line (808) 270-7633.
