BRIEF: Kahului Airport Runway Closure, March 9

The state Department of Transportation announced the planned closure of Runway 2/20 at Kahului Airport from midnight to 7 a.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2014.
The closure is to allow pavement maintenance work on the runway.

Transportation officials say flight patterns will be modified, resulting in increased air traffic over Kahului and Spreckelsville areas during the work period.
The work was initially scheduled to take place this past Sunday, March 2, but was canceled due to weather conditions.
