Local Provider of Personalized In-Home Care Opens on Maui

A new provider of personalized in-home care on Maui is now accepting clients.

Caregivers Maui, a private Hawaiʻi corporation established in 2013, is an affiliate company of the non-profit Hale Makua Health Services organization.

The locally owned, Caregivers Maui, has a physical office located on Main Street in Wailuku, but provides private home care services to clients of all ages, that is customized based on patient need.

“Hale Makua Health Services is very excited to be affiliated with Caregivers Maui, as we often receive calls from individuals asking for help with personal care, which our skilled care Home Health Care Agency doesn’t provide,” said Hale Makua Health Services CEO, Tony Krieg in a joint press release.

Kreig said the affiliation between the two companies, enables the organizations to provide a “full continuum of quality healthcare services,” to the Maui community.

Caregivers Maui offers a variety of services including standby assistance, light housekeeping and companionship, meal preparation, medication compliance and coping with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Services also include assistance with bed-bound clients, blood glucose monitoring, and assistance with basic g-tube feeding.

Care is provided by insured, screened, and CPR and first aid certified caregivers under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
