This Thursday, April 17, Maui Brewing Company invites you to learn about the world of lagers at their Kahana brewpub location.

This first session of the brewery’s new beer school presents the history of lagers and the lagering process, and spotlights the parts of the world where the product has been perfected. Attendees can expect to learn the difference between ales and lagers, as well as obtain the knowledge to infuriate friends while verbally jousting your way to proving that almost every beer can fall into one of these two categories.

There will also be beer tasting and light food pairings. Maui Brewing Company will be showcasing their own lagers as well as commercial examples of the style in order to help you gain an understanding of the flavors, nuances, and mouthfeel of a lager beer.
