Home sales on Maui were up in April with a total of 84 homes sold for a median price of $583,000, according to new data released by the Realtors Association of Maui.
That’s 15 more units sold than the previous month, and five more than the same time last year. The median price of homes sold on Maui was down $13,000 from March, but up $113,000 from the same time last year, according to the report.
The greatest number of homes sold in April were in Central Maui where 26 homes sold for a median price of $429,973, followed by Kīhei where 12 homes sold for a median of $667,825, according to RAM data.
The Realtors Association of Maui also reported a increase in condo sales with 136 units sold in April–that’s up nine units from the previous month, and down eight units from the same time last year.
The median price for a condo in April was $403,500, down from the March median of $420,000, and up from the $370,000 price tag at the same time last year, according to the RAM.
The greatest number of condos sold in April were in Kīhei where 56 condos sold for a median price of $315,000, followed by Central Maui where 18 condos sold for a median of $269,250, according to RAM data.
