Maui Electric Aerial Line Inspections: June 20, 26 and 27

Maui Electric Company will be using a helicopter to perform routine power line inspections throughout Maui County on June 20, 26, and 27.

Inspections are weather permitting and will take place between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

  • Friday, June 20: Lāna‘i and Moloka‘i
  • Thursday, June 26: Kahului to Hāna and Haleakalā. ‘Ulupalakua to Wailea to Kīhei and Mā‘alaea to Nāpili.
  • Friday, June 27: Kahului to Hāna and Haleakalā. ‘Ulupalakua to Wailea to Kīhei and Mā‘alaea to Nāpili.

Company representatives say the inspections are routine and are necessary to maintain reliable electrical service for the Maui community.

Dates and locations are subject to change due to weather.
