During the move, vehicles and support staff will work out of the Kahului site until trailers are set and functional at the new site.

The Puʻunēnē transportation hub is located near the HC&S mill site on 10 acres of land partially donated by Alexander & Baldwin.

Construction on the $23 million project began in 2012.  MEO reports that it annually provides more than $5 million in specialized transportation services to residents of Maui County.
