Waterline Repair to Affect Traffic at Piʻikea/S Kīhei Road, Oct. 29

The County of Maui Department of Water Supply advises motorists to follow signage and drive with caution at the intersection of Piʻikea Street and South Kīhei Road on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 due to a waterline repair project.

DWS personnel will be replacing a broken water service line on the makai side (ocean side) of South Kīhei Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The southbound right-turn lane and the entrance to the Kīhei Post Office will be closed.

Water service should not be affected.

Customers are asked to call the 24-hour service line at (808) 270-7633, only if a water emergency occurs.
