Maui police responded to 15 burglaries, 13 vehicle thefts, and 24 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between Nov. 30 to Dec. 6, 2014.

The number of vehicle thefts and burglaries were both down from the amount reported a week earlier.

Of the 13 vehicle thefts, two vehicles have since been recovered.

The incidents were spread across the island with four incidents in Wailuku, 3 incidents in Kahului, and two incidents in Lahaina.

Burglary incidents dropped for the week with 15 incidents reported, down from the 22 incidents reported the week before.  The greatest number of incidents occurred in Lahaina where three incidents occurred; followed by two incidents each in Kahului, Kīhei, Wailuku and on Molokaʻi.

Vehicle break-ins increased to 24, up from the 19 incidents reported the week before.  Seven of the incidents were in Kahului.
