Home sales on Maui were down in November from both month before and year before levels with a total of 74 homes sold for a median price of $587,500, according to new data released by the Realtors Association of Maui.
That’s 10 units less than what was sold in the previous month, and 1 unit less than the 75 units that were sold at the same time last year.
The median price of homes sold on Maui was up $21,500 from October, and up $72,500 from the same time last year, according to the report.
The greatest number of homes sold in November were in Central Maui where 29 homes sold for a median price of $476,000, followed by Kīhei where 8 homes sold for a median of $671,500, according to RAM data.
The Realtors Association of Maui reported a sharp decline in condo sales from month before levels with 68 units sold in November–that’s down 27 units from the previous month, and down 28 units from the same time last year.
The median price for a condo in November was $366,250, down from the October median of $419,000, but up from the $350,000 price tag at the same time last year, according to the RAM.
The greatest number of condos sold in November was in Kīhei where 24 condos sold for a median price of $332,500, followed by Central Maui where 12 condos sold for a median of $262,500, according to RAM data.
