Maui County Crime Log Dec. 28, 2014–Jan. 3, 2015: Burglaries, Thefts, Break-Ins

Maui police responded to 21 burglaries, 8 vehicle thefts, and 26 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over the seven-day period between Sunday Dec. 28, 2014 and Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015.

The number of burglaries is the same as the previous week at 21 incidents reported.

The number of vehicle break-ins is twice the amount reported a week earlier. Vehicle break-ins increased from 13 during the previous week to 26 during this reporting period.

Vehicle thefts decreased from 11 to 8 during this reporting period.
