North: Shoulder high to slightly overhead waves are expected today.
West: Pretty flat conditions are expected today. Spots catching the swell should be knee to waist high.
South: Ankle to waist high waves are expected today. Otherwise, shores that don’t catch the swells will be pretty flat.
Our current west-northwest swell is building into Tuesday and starts to ease by the middle of the week.
Another bit of surf energy is expected to build out of the northwest late Wednesday. This swell is still pending development of the storm.
Our current Tasman swell is expected to continue to slowly fade through Tuesday. Not much expected for the second half of the work week.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
