A fundraising fundamentals course will be held on April 14 and 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for fundraising professionals. The 16-hour course, titled “AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising,” will take place at the J. Walter Cameron Center’s conference room in Wailuku.

“This workshop presents affordable training for Maui fundraisers that will meet the needs of new and experienced staff at the same time,” said Mike Moses, Association of Fundraising Professionals Aloha Chapter president. “We encourage anyone currently in a fundraising role or those entertaining the idea of entering the profession to attend.”

The course has been developed and designed by experienced fundraising professionals to address real-world challenges facing nonprofits. Described as “substantive and enjoyable,”  the course will be taught by Maui local and professional fundraiser Cynthia Lallo and AFP Aloha Chapter Director John Ciambrone.
