Pavement Rehabilitation Project Begins in Wailea

A road pavement rehabilitation project begins today, April 27, 2015, on Wailea Alanui and Wailea Ike Drive in South Maui.

The project includes reconstruction of Wailea Alanui from Okolani Drive to Wailea Ike Drive, and Wailea Ike Drive from Wailea Alanui to the Piʻilani Highway.

The project also includes repairs to underground drainage, concrete sidewalks and installation of pavement striping, markers, and signs.

Work hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Motorists are advised to expect delays, use caution and follow all traffic control signs, devices and flag persons while driving through the work zone.
