Pūlama Lānaʻi Promotes Kameʻenui and Petteys

Pūlama Lānaʻi has promoted Harrilynn Kameʻenui to senior vice president of administration and Edwin Petteys to senior vice president of natural resources.

Pūlama Lānaʻi is developing a comprehensive plan for managing and conserving Lānaʻi’s energy, water and land resources.

Kameʻenui, the former vice president of human resources, joined Pulama Lanai in 2013 as associate general counsel.

In her most recent role, she developed and executed human resources strategies in support of the organization’s mission, vision and values.

As senior vice president of administration, she will continue oversight of human resources activities, and will also direct the Safety & Security and Information Technology departments.

She earned her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Washington and received her juris doctor degree from the University of Hawaiʻi’s William S. Richardson School of Law. She serves as a board member on The Disciplinary Board of the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court and the American Red Cross – Hawaiʻi State Chapter Board. She is also a member of the Hawaiʻi State Bar Association.

Petteys has extensive background in forestry and wildlife management, including experience in the Hawaiʻi State Department of Land and Natural Resources. Since joining the company in 2013, he has effectively elevated the role of his department and has been an integral part of bolstering the company’s sustainability efforts.

Petteys received his bachelor’s degree in forest management from Oregon State University and has also worked on numerous natural resource projects for nonprofits and government agencies around the world.
