Maui Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male and female wanted for questioning in a second degree theft investigation.

Police say a male suspect was arrested for theft at a business after he allegedly exited the building without attempting to pay for merchandise police say was concealed in his backpack.

The incident was reported on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015.

Police say the male suspect was allegedly given merchandise that was selected by another male and female couple. Police say the couple left the business without being identified after the male suspect was detained by loss prevention personnel.

The Maui Police Department is requesting assistance with identifying the male and female in the photos taken from the business surveillance video.
