Brian Yano Appointed as Shops at Wailea GM

Brian K. Yano has joined the JLL management team as general manager at The Shops at Wailea. Yano brings a wealth of experience to the position with over 33 years in leasing and property/asset management. He will oversee the daily operations of the 162,679-square foot resort shopping center.

Yano began his career as a commercial property manager in Boston managing over 1.2 million square feet of commercial retail and office space with 350 tenants. For the past five years, he has been a resident of Maui and held the position of director of facilities engineering and nutrition services for Hawaii Health System Corporation – Maui Region, where he oversaw strategic planning, administrative direction and oversight of 200 employees. Most recently he worked for A&B Properties as director of property management for the state and asset manager for the Neighbor Islands.

Yano was born and raised in east O‘ahu and has business degree from the University of Buffalo in New York. He enjoys the arts and is an active member of the Maui community.
