The watch includes the islands of: Niʻihau, Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, Maui and Hawaiʻi Island.

According to the latest NWS forecast, “a very moist and unstable air mass remains over Hawaiʻi.  This tropical moisture interacting with island terrain and daytime heating will produce localized, intense and slow-moving heavy rains that may lead to flash flooding.”
