Maui Crime, Nov. 1–7: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

The total number of burglaries, vehicle break-ins and vehicle thefts reported this week was 69; 11 more than reported during the previous week.

The hot spot for burglaries this week was Wailuku with seven reported, followed by Kahului with six.

Kahului was the vehicle break-in and theft hot spot with seven incidents, followed by Pā‘ia with five incidents reported during this period.

Kahului and Lahaina tied at four each as the hot spots for vehicle thefts.

The total number of burglaries is four more than reported the previous week. The total number of vehicle break-ins reported this week is four than the previous week. The total number of vehicle thefts increased dramatically, with 11 more than reported last week.
