The Shops at Wailea will launch “Shopping in a Wailea Wonderland” on Black Friday, Nov. 27, 2015.
Santa Stops in Wailea:
Maui Classic Cruisers and Street Bikers United Hawaiʻi – Maui Chapter will escort Santa to the event.
Santa’s route travels from Kalama Park on South Kīhei Road through the Wailea resort area, and ends at The Shops at Wailea.
Starting at 10:45 am keiki will have a chance to visit with Santa and receive a special cookie courtesy of the Honolulu Cookie Company. Santa will be at The Shops at Wailea from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily from Nov. 27 through Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2015. Parking validation is available during Santa visits.
In addition to Santa’s visit, the center features Polynesian music and dance performances by Aumakua Productions. The ensemble of musicians and dancers led by entertainer Keoni Manuel, will perform between 11 a.m. and noon on the first floor at the fountain courtyard area.
Black Friday – Early Arrivals:
As a special Black Friday offer, the first 200 customers arriving at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, will receive a gift bag full of discounts and offers (while supplies last). Customers are invited to pick up the holiday bag on the first floor, near Tori Richard.
Toy Drives:
Throughout the holiday period The Shops at Wailea asks members of the community to support the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center and Maui United Way Holiday Toy Drive. Unwrapped toys can be dropped in four bins located around The Shops. These toys will then be sorted by age and gender and distributed to less fortunate children within the community.
