Mānao Radio Show to Feature Music of Peter Schat

Ebb & Flow Arts will present Points of Departure, co-hosted by Robert Pollock and Tony Walholm, on Sunday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Mānao Radio 91.7FM and livestream at www.manaoradio.com.

The segment will feature music by Peter Schat, Holland’s most important composer of the 20th century. Works to be broadcast will include The Heavens for orchestra, excerpts from two operas—Monkey Subdues the White Bone Demon and Houdini—Serenade for strings, Polonaise for piano, Mozaic for orchestra, Symphony #3″ and more.

Tony’s Corner will feature a survey of music by Terry Riley, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday.
