‘Sea of Love’ Valentine’s dinner at Maui Ocean Center

Experience a unique, romantic evening under the sea at Maui Ocean Center in Māʻalaea this Valentine’s Day, Sunday Feb. 14.

The Aquarium’s annual evening event invites residents and visitors to enjoy semi-private dining in an enchanting setting, surrounded by marine life in the Living Reef exhibits. Couples and friends will enjoy a truly unique, one-of-a-kind Valentine’s experience unlike any other venue on Maui.

The Aquarium’s award-winning Seascape Māʻalaea Restaurant, lead by James Beard-nominated Chef Henry Tariga, will serve a four-course meal throughout the evening. Guests will enjoy a welcome glass of sparkling wine followed by Cupid’s Platter, an assortment of hamachi sashimi, shrimp cocktail, and stacked caprese.

The menu also includes a King lobster bisque, red and gold beet salad with micro greens and a choice of entrées that include a fresh catch & filet mignon duo, poached lobster with lemon thyme cream sauce, Madeira wine and Big Island mushroom chicken, or vegetable lei (vegetarian dish). All entrées are served with Chef’s choice of accompaniments.

The Sea of Love Valentine’s Dinner is $119 per person, plus service charge and tax. It includes a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and a red rose. The dinner is served with coffee or tea; champagne upgrades and bar service are available for a fee.

Seating times are between 6 and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14. Calls are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are highly recommended due to limited seating. Call (808) 270-7088 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday through Friday to reserve.
