Kamehameha Schools Maui Ho‘olaulea, Saturday, April 16
Kamehameha Schools Maui in Kulamalu will hold its Ho‘olaule’a from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 16.
Admission is free.
The event will include live entertainment, Hawaiian cultural activities, food, craft, games, a country story and plant sale.
Silent auction bidding will begin at 9 a.m. and will close at 2 p.m. Winnning bid transactions will be conducted between 2:30 and 3 p.m.
Hawaiian cultural activities will include poi pounding at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., kapa making at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., tattoo designs at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Makahiki games at 11 a.m.
Food offerings will include corned beef laulau, pizza, shoyu chicken, chow fun, Hawaiian plates, nachos, tropical ice, and baked goods from the Sweet Shop.
Keiki crafts and games will include Go Fish, Shoot Out, Home Run, Ring Toss, Touchdown, bucket toss, face painting, tattoos, dunk tank, inflatables and Keaka Kamali‘i’s Keiki Theater.
The event will also include a country store, plant sale and more.
