HMSA to Sponsor Breakfast on Maui SBW Opening Day

2016-MauiSBW-Celebrates-21-23Third annual Maui Small Business Week organizers announced that Hawai’i Medical Service Association will sponsor a free breakfast on the Inaugural Day on Monday, May 9, in addition to being an event sponsor for this year’s weeklong Maui SBW scheduled for May 9 through 13, 2016.

“Serving small businesses has been our privilege at HMSA for more than 70 years,”said HMSA Sales Account Manager Becki Victorine. “That’s why we’re enthusiastic supporters of Maui Small Business Week.”

Monday, May 9, 2016

8:30 to 8:55 a.m.: Sign in, breakfast, meet and mingle

8:30 to 10:30 a.m.: Opening Ceremony with David Kapaku, John Hau‘oli Tomoso, Kainoa Horcajo, Teena Rasmussen, Karen Arakawa and Lori Fisher. RSVP online.

10:30 to 11:45 a.m.: “Creating and Delivering Powerful Business Presentations” with Lori Fisher

“We are glad that HMSA has stepped up to support a more complete breakfast for the inaugural day,” said event Host and Emcee John Hau‘oli Tomoso, one of Maui SBW’s organizers.

“It’s a way of HMSA expressing its care about one’s wellness, too,” added Tomoso. “When nourished, the attendees can stay focused for a longer time and learn more effectively and efficiently during each MauiSBW session.”
