Maui Business Brainstormers’ Business in the Think Tank in Upcountry Maui will take place at the Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center in Makawao on Thursday, June 23, 2016.

“Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center offers exhibitions and programs year round that cultivate a fuller appreciation of and interest in art by promoting cultural exchange, spurring dialogue and enhancing awareness of and access to the visual arts on Maui,” said Executive Director Caroline Killhour. “Our expansive grounds and gallery are free and open to the public seven days a week and provide a fully accessible space for residents, students, teachers and visitors to explore, wander, learn and enjoy. We are so grateful for the many opportunities we have to share this incredible educational resource with everyone in our community.”

MBB has hosted 86 BiTT meetings at various locations across Maui.

Wherever a BiTT happens, MBB relies always on sponsorship for its meeting space needs.

In March 2016, MBB firmed a monthly meeting space for its Upcountry BiTT meetings with the Mayor Hannibal Tavares Community Center. However, due to the Center’s summer program in June, MBB needed to find a different meeting place.

“We are so thankful to Hui No‘eau for opening its meeting facility for our Upcountry BITT meeting this month,” said Nicole Fisher, an MBB voluntary organizer and Upcountry BiTT host.

“For our BiTT programs in West Maui, Upcountry Maui, North Shore Maui and East Maui, we are constantly in search of a place that can offer an indoor meeting room with the right ambience that makes the brainstorming in group productive and fun,” added Fisher.

MBB is a four-year nonprofit volunteer-based business-to-business support group.

In addition to the BiTT monthly meetings, MBB has created and hosted more than 50 educational special events featuring top-notch speakers and experts, and expects to continue doing more for local entrepreneurs and those on the path of becoming their own boss.

MBB is dynamically focused on initiatives that help local entrepreneurs dream and journey to reach success. Its BiTT meetings brainstorm about business related matters.

“Sometimes the best things in life are the unexpected,”said MBB organizers. “It may just be the spark that you needed to challenge yourself, try something new, or reaffirm that you are on your path to success. And in our BiTT meetings, that spark shows up often.”
