Newest DK Restaurant Scores on Open Table

Two restaurants from the DK Restaurant group have been honored on two Open Table Hawai’i Top Ten lists from January.

DK’s new restaurant on Maui, Shearwater Tavern, is listed at #2 on the Best Value list and #7 on the Fit for Foodies list.  The Kīhei gastropub just opened a few months ago; learn more in our video here.

“This is such a huge honor for us,” says Shearwater Tavern general manager Reed Robertson. “We just opened in mid-December and we’re thrilled and humbled that our community has embraced us in this way.”

Shearwater Tavern is known as a neighborhood gathering place, serving a variety of creative comfort food and excellent craft beers.

Another DK restaurant, VINO Italian Tapas & Wine Bar on O‘ahu, is rated #8 on the Fit for Foodies top ten list. The award-winning, Mediterranean-inspired small plates and wine bar is located at Honolulu’s Waterfront Plaza.

Master Sommelier Chuck Furuya, Chef Keith Endo and Restaurant GM Ann Taketa make up the restaurant’s winning team.

OpenTable restaurant ratings are based on 400,000 new diner reviews posted via the huge, worldwide online reservations hub.
