The Shops at Wailea presents ARTwalk at The Shops on the first Wednesday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m.  The next event will take place on Wednesday, March, 1.

ARTwalk is a fine art and entertainment event that promotes local visual art and artists in a wide range of mediums and artistic style, including painting, sculpture, metal art, handmade jewelry, photography, glass works and island wood carvings.

The complimentary event is open to the public.

This provides the public with an opportunity to meet fellow art lovers, visitors, residents, artist and experience the creativity of some of Hawaiʻi and the world’s finest artists.

The Shops at Wailea supports a different Maui non-profit each month with 60% of the special event parking fees going back to the non-profit. March’s non-profit recipient is Imua Family Services.

The Shops’ goal is to enrich the community through exploration and discovery in the culture, arts, and music while supporting the local businesses and non-profit partners. Four-hour event parking is available for $5 dollars and can be purchased at the non-profit’s parking table.

Imua Family Services is a non-profit, community based organization serving Maui, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi. Imua provides family-centered, therapeutic services for infants, toddlers and preschool children, from birth to age six and their families. The first five years of a child’s life often called the formative years are absolutely critical for the development, performance, and success of the child to help them move forward.

Since 1947, they have been fulfilling their mission to “Empower families and their children to reach their full potential.”  Programs includes an Infant Child Development Program, serving children birth to age three and our Early Childhood Development Program, serving children three through six years old.  Other programs include Imua Autism Services, Newborn Hearing Screening, Imua Inclusion Preschool, Dream Imua and Camp Imua.
