Hawaiian Airlines Cancels Two HNL/JFK Flights Due to Winter Storm

Hawaiian Airlines has cancelled two flights to and from New York and Honolulu due to Winter Storm Stella.

Today’s flight, Monday, March 13, HA Flight 50 from Honolulu to John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) and HA Flight 51 from JFK to HNL on Tuesday, March 14 have both been cancelled due to the winter storm.

The airline says it’s making every effort to contact and re-accommodate customers on all cancelled flights.

Hawaiian says it will waive all reservation change fees and differences in fares for customers traveling to, from or via New York/JFK through Wednesday, March 15, 2017. The airline says changes must be made prior to the original departure date for new flights departing on or before Friday, March 17, 2017.

The airline also states that change fees and applicable fare differences will be waived provided that original flights were ticketed on or before Sunday, March 12, changes are made in the same class of service, based on seat availability and subject to restrictions noted above. Changes must also be made by Hawaiian Airlines personnel through the Reservations department or at the airport.
