A large west-northwest swell is forecast filling in and peaking Friday at warning levels before slowly fading over the weekend.

Short period easterly swell could get up to advisory levels along east exposures by the end of the weekend and into early next week.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
