Maui Surf Forecast
North: Surf heights are expected to be waist/shoulder high today and fading. A new northwest begins to fill in by sunset.
West: Surf is thigh/waist high today with some plusses on the sets at the best breaks. Makena through Olowalu will be smaller or even flat.
South: Surf is thigh/waist high today with some plusses on the sets at the best breaks.
Our current south-southwest is fading today. Another south-southwest is forecast to fill in Tuesday with yet another swell expected around the 27th.
Our current northwest swell is fading Monday. A new northwest fills in Tuesday. Another northwest is forecast for the 21st.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
