Looking Ahead

Kona wind conditions will continue today with clouds and showers mostly on south and southwest shores and slopes. A cold front is forecast to reach Kaua’i on Thursday morning and stall near Oahu & Molokai Thursday afternoon / evening. Trade winds will rebuild Friday. Increasing instability is expected for the weekend and that could bring wetter trade wind conditions.

Today 

We have southwest to west winds today around 10 to 15 mph. High temperatures are forecast from 80° to 87°. Partly cloudy skies with a chance of showers.

Tonight 

Showers will increase as a front moves through. Low temperatures from 69° to 74°. Winds are forecast out of the southwest and shifting to northerly winds behind the front which should pass through and stall Thursday night near Molokai.
