The University of Hawai‘i Maui College commencement ceremony for the graduating class of 2017 will take place Thursday, May 11, at 5:30 p.m. on the Great Lawn at the UHMC Kahului campus.

A special live music performance by Kūikawā will kick-off the celebration, followed by a commencement address given by The Honorable Senator Gilbert S.C. Keith-Agaran.

This year, a total of 780 Certificates, Associate degrees, Bachelor’s degrees, Master’s degrees, and Doctorate degrees will be awarded.

In addition to UHMC, other UH campuses represented are UH Mānoa, UH Hilo, UH West O‘ahu, and Windward Community College.

The community is welcome to to join the faculty, staff, and students in celebrating the accomplishments of this year’s graduates.

For those unable to attend, live-streaming will be broadcast via the website.
