Maui’s Yagyagan Graduates from Basic Air Force Training

US Air Force Airman Christian Mae Yagyagan
US Air Force Airman Christian Mae Yagyagan graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Yagyagan completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Individuals who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Yagyagan earned distinction as an honor graduate.
She is the daughter of Marites P. Yagyagan and Rey Romerico O. Malacas of Lahaina and is a 2016 graduate of Lahainaluna High School on Maui.
