“We want to thank our sponsors, volunteers and all spectators for their support, who allow us to give back to this wonderful community,” said Nancy Cross, executive director of the SBS Tournament of Champions. “The island of Maui always embraces this event with open arms and we take pride in being able to help support these worthy local organizations.”

The six primary beneficiaries of the 2017 event were Boy Scouts of America, Friends of the Children’s Justice Center, Hale Makua Health Services, J. Walter Cameron Center, Ka Lima O Maui and Lahainaluna High School Foundation. The designated beneficiaries assisted in promoting the event, provided volunteers and more.

A donation was also made to participants of the Hawai’i State Junior Golf Association, Maui Junior Golf and Lahaina Junior Golf for helping to promote the game of golf among Hawai’i’s youth.
