Looking Ahead

Trade winds are forecast to pick up in strength Tuesday and Wednesday. Clouds and showers will continue to favor windward and mauka spots, but will affect leeward spots from time to time as well. Showers are expected to become more widespread, with locally heavy downpours and thunderstorms possible, from Tuesday night into Thursday as a disturbance moves over the islands. Fewer showers are expected by next weekend.
