Waipuilani Irrigation Work Extended to End of September

Work on the new irrigation system at Waipuilani Park is expected to continue through the end of September, with some portions of the park to remain closed during construction.

County officials note that the parking lot, restrooms and tennis courts that were closed during August construction will reopen on September 1 and will remain open while construction continues.
Signs will indicate those areas which will remain closed and the public is asked to stay away from these areas for safety reasons.
Work was initially slated for completion by the end of August.
