Kahanu Garden ʻUlu Cook-Off, Oct. 12

The Kahanu Garden ʻUlu Cook-Off will return on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017 at the Hāna Ballpark.

Competition categories will include: Appetizer, Soup & Salad, Entree, and Dessert.
To qualify for the competition, all dishes must include ʻulu, a detailed recipe and an Aloha Week pin. Contest officials ask that enough of the dish is made for five judges to taste and for community samples.
One guest judge will host a cooking demonstration before the winners are announced. Contestants can pick up ʻulu at Kahanu Garden but should call ahead for availability.
