AARP Hawai‘i is bringing identity theft expert Frank Abagnale to Maui on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at the King Kamehameha Golf Club at 9:30 a.m.

Abagnale was one of the most successful identity thieves in U.S. history. During his criminal career, which began when he was just 16, Abagnale forged more than $2.5 million in checks and posed as an airline pilot, doctor and lawyer before his capture at age 21. His exploits became a best-selling book and the movie Catch Me If You Can starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Abagnale.

After Abagnale was released from prison, he started helping the FBI outsmart con artists. He’s also joined forces with the AARP Fraud Watch Network and AARP Hawaii to teach you how to protect yourself and your family from identity theft.
