Four Seasons Resort Maui Celebrates Global Wellness Day

“One day can change your whole life.” This is the mantra of Global Wellness Day, the international day dedicated to living well, and Four Seasons Resort Maui agrees.

On Sat., June 9, 2018 the resort has planned a full schedule of complimentary activities, open to guests and the community, which include yoga, meditation and wellness workshops. The resort invites guests to reserve their space now by calling The Spa at (808) 874-2925.

The Global Wellness Day schedule is as follows:

7 a.m.- Meditation led by Dr. Debra Greene, PhD, Wailea Beach

8 a.m.- Yoga led by Brenna Miles, Ocean Front Lawn

9 a.m.- RAD Fascia Release Class led by Mike Mallory and Julie Wu, Ocean Front Lawn

10 a.m. – Wellness Talk Story featuring Dr. Mark Emerson, Grow Some Good, and Kuleana by Maiden Hawaii Naturals, Fountain View Terrace

11a.m. – Wellness Cooking Demo by Four Seasons culinary team, Fountain View Lawn

This is the third year the resort has supported Global Wellness Day.  “This year, we are especially excited to have such a robust roster of specialists available to our guests and community,” says Senior Spa Director Pat Makozak. “From mind-body medicine specialist Dr. Debra Greene, PhD to yogi Brenna Miles to Wellness Expert Dr. Mark Emerson, we are thrilled to share our expertise with the community.”

The Spa, which is renowned for connecting guests with some of Maui’s most notable wellness masters, is also proud to share the day with RAD Roller massage tools founder Mike Mallory and ambassador Julie Wu, who are coming from Colorado to join the celebration. Other featured partners include Maui’s nonprofit school garden organization, Grow Some Good; Kuleana by Maiden Hawaii Naturals, a Hawaiian natural skincare; Valley Isle Kombucha; and Evian.

The cherry—or in this case, the “superfruit”—on top? The Resort’s award-winning culinary team will be showcasing new items from the Wellness Your Way menu, which were developed by Executive Chef Craig Dryhurst in consultation with Dr. Mark Emerson.Wellness Your Way culinary items are offered at most outlets across the resort as part of the acclaimed Wellness Your Way program, offering custom spa, nutrition and fitness options for guests seeking optimal health.
