Blue Door Bread Company

Blue Door Bread Company, a local organic bakery in Kīhei, makes its freshly baked artisan sourdough breads readily available at the fountain courtyard at The Shops at Wailea Monday to Friday from 3 to 6:30 pm.

Blue Door Bread Company’s bread is made from dough that is naturally cultured and leavened, then allowed to ferment for 48 hours prior to baking. This old-fashioned process of making bread without yeast, sugar, or dairy keeps Blue Door Bread Company’s hearth-baked breads “delicious and nutritious.”

“Wailea residents and visitors alike can’t get enough of the quality bread products of Blue Door Bread Company,” said Brian Yano, general manager of The Shops at Wailea. “We’re happy to pave another way to make the popular breads easily available to them.”

Blue Door Bread Company’s natural breads come in a variety of batards or torpedo loaves, boules or bread bowls, baguettes, and focaccia.
