Governor David Ige leads an afternoon briefing on the impacts of Tropical Storm Olivia. The briefing includes an update from the Central Pacific Hurricane Center and a phone-in report from Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa.  “It’s important not to assume that the impacts of the storm are done since the eye of the storm has already passed us,” said Mayor Arakawa.

Hawaiʻi Department of Education officials say six schools are currently serving as shelters and will be making a decision later today on school situations for tomorrow.
